Dajhuhu Hiking Trail
Dajhuhu Hiking Trail

With a total length of only 200 meters, this is the shortest trail at Sun Moon Lake. The unique sandbank terrain nurtures a rich ecological environment. The less-known Wujie Irrigation Outlet is also an excellent spot to observe the Sun Moon Fountain.

Nine Frogs Stack
Nine Frogs Stack

During the dry season, nine frogs emerge from the water, stacked on top of each other, making them a fun and seasonal photo opportunity. The frogs actually serve a hidden function of recording daily changes in the lake's water level for hydroelectric generation.

Wenwu Temple
Wenwu Temple

Wenwu Templeis a large and imposing structure, with three separate halls. On the second floor of the front hall is a shrine devoted to the First Ancestor Kaiji and the God of Literature; the central hall is devoted to Guan Gong, the God of War, and the warrior-god Yue Fei; the rear hall is dedicated to Confucius. In addition to Confucius, there are also statues of his disciples, Mencius and Zihsih.

Takrahaz Water Cycling Path
Takrahaz Water Cycling Path
