This year’s Come!BikeDay Cycling Festival at Sun Moon Lake brings together lake views, mountain scenery, cycling, blessings, local products, missions, and fun—celebrating the joy of an autumn biking festival unique to the lake.

Round-the-lake boat and bike challenge

Explore Sun Moon Lake in Diverse Ways!

  • Event Time: 07:00-12:00
  • Participants: General cyclists
  • Registration Fee: NT$550 per person, including insurance, bib, certification, souvenir, and coupon.
【Lake Loop Group 30K】

Experience the classic Sun Moon Lake bikeway. Starting from Shuishe, travel along the lakeshore, feeling the gentle breeze from the lake, and achieve the accomplishment of completing the loop.

Xiangshang Visitor Center (Starting Point) → Turn right onto Route 21 → Shuishe Pier → Jioulongkou → Turn right onto Route 21A → Wenwu Temple → Sun Moon Lake Cable Car Station → Ita Thao (Rest Stop) → Xuanguang Temple → Toushe Police Station → Turn right onto Route 21 → Turn right back to Xiangshang Visitor Center (End Point)

【Boat and Bike Group 20K】

Ride along the new Takrahaz Water Cycling Path at Shuishe, Songbolun, and Itashao sections. Combine cycling with boating to enjoy Sun Moon Lake's beauty from two different perspectives. Even beginners can easily take on this challenge!

Xiangshang Visitor Center (Starting Point) → Turn right onto Route 21 → Shuishe Pier → Jioulongkou → Turn right onto Route 21A → Wenwu Temple → Sun Moon Lake Ropeway Station → Nine Frogs Stack (Turnaround Point) → Ita Thao Pier (Boarding the boat with bicycles) → Shuishe Pier → Xiangshang Section → Xiangshang Visitor Center (End Point)

Join the Nine Frogs of Sun Moon Lake on an adventure!
Scoop frog eggs, fish for tadpoles, jump like a frog... Every little rider is the best frog!
No speed contest—just fun! Perfect for kids under 10. Bring your siblings and ride as a team!

  • Event time: 12:00–15:00
  • Eligibility: Children aged 3–10
  • Groupings: Divided by age and gender
  • Registration Fee: NT$300 (includes insurance, bib number, finisher certificate, souvenir, and vouchers)
  • Stations: Egg scooping → Tadpole fishing → Frog jumping rings → Balance bike
  • Souvenir: Come!BikeDay Tags, Frog hat

Bike Blessing

"Cycle around Sun Moon Lake, collect blessings for the whole year!"
Happiness, wealth, safety, and health await you. Ride along the lake and collect your wishes at every stop—each with a small ritual of blessing.
Pedal and check in, letting your bike carry the good fortune to year’s end!

  • Event time: 08:00–13:00
  • Eligibility: Must complete the route by bicycle
  • Registration Fee: NT$250 /person (can be bundled with other activities)
  • Souvenir: Ni Hao Frog (a lucky frog made from the reservoir silt of Sun Moon Lake)
  • How It Works:
    Four blessing themes—Happiness, Wealth, Safety, and Health—are stationed with themed NPCs.
    Participants must complete the mission on their task card, challenge the NPCs at each stop, and collect a blessing card after each success.
    Collect all four blessing cards to redeem a special souvenir.

  • Souvenir redemption closes at 14:30 on the event day—no late claims.
  • Lost or expired task cards will not be reissued.
  • Bring your completed task card to Xiangshan main venue for redemption. Quantities are limited.
